Sunny and her puppies were rescued from the Petersburg Animal Shelter in June of 2009. All of her puppies have found homes, but Sunny is still patiently waiting for a place to call her own.  She is a sweet girl who loves cuddling with her people and playing fetch.  She has been going to training and the dog trainer has said that Sunny is a smart girl and will catch on quickly.  She has a lot of energy and but is also content with curling up with her foster siblings.  Sunny loves attention and would do well with a family who has time to spend with her.  She loves her foster brother and the other dogs she sees regularly but can be picky about whom she wants to call her friend.  Sunny loves giving kisses and letting you know how much she loves you.  She was hoping to find her forever home for Christmas but knows that she will just have to be patient and that there is a family out there who will give her the love she deserves.  Won't you think of making Sunny a part of your family?
